Future Minerals Forum Saudi Arabia

As the global mining industry gathered to discuss the next phase of resource development, Zenex Drilling took part in the conversation at the Future Minerals Forum, with General Manager Emmanuel Bonte and Managing Director Cindy Fick representing the business.

Held during a period of rapid change across exploration, mining and critical minerals, the Forum brought together industry leaders, governments and operators to focus on long-term supply, capability and responsible growth. The Forum was held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 13–15 January 2026. For Zenex Drilling, attendance was less about profile and more about perspective.

“We operate at the point where strategy meets reality, on the ground, in complex conditions,” said Emmanuel Bonte.

“Forums like this are valuable because they allow us to step back, listen, and understand how global priorities are evolving, and how that translates into practical expectations for operators like us.”

With more than 30 years’ experience supporting exploration and mining clients, Zenex Drilling’s contribution to the discussion was grounded in delivery. The company continued to work across both exploration drilling and mining drilling, supporting clients from early-stage programs through to active operations in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

Managing Director Cindy Fick said the Forum provided an opportunity to engage with the industry through a long-term lens.

“What stood out for me was the focus on sustainability and resilience, not just growth,” Fick said.

“Strong businesses are built over decades, not cycles. That has always been central to how Zenex Drilling operates, investing in people, building capability from within, and making measured decisions that stand the test of time,” she continued.

“This was also a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from the Middle East that we met in Sydney in 2025,” Fick said.

“Those conversations laid the foundations for strong working relationships, and it was valuable to continue building on them in person as we look ahead.”
