Epiroc DML HP Multi-Pass Rigs Available in the Zenex Drilling Fleet

​At Zenex Drilling, we place a strong emphasis on running proven, reliable equipment that performs in real mining conditions. From time to time, that also means making high-quality assets available to the market when they are no longer required for our immediate program of work.

​We currently have four Epiroc DML high-pressure multi-pass drill rigs available within our fleet. These rigs have been operating in Papua New Guinea and represent a well-maintained, field-proven option for operators looking for dependable rotary blasthole capability.

The Epiroc DML is a crawler-mounted, hydraulic top-head drive rig suited to a wide range of multi-pass rotary and DTH drilling applications. It has earned its reputation by performing consistently across almost every mining condition, delivering productivity, reliability, and low operating costs year after year.

Many experienced drillers learned their trade on a DML. It is a platform that operators know, trust, and respect, and one that continues to be relied upon globally for its straightforward design and dependable performance.

All four rigs share the same configuration and have been maintained to a high standard. Two rigs have been in continuous operation since May 2022, with the remaining two operating since January 2024. Across the fleet, average operational availability has been around 85 per cent per month, reflecting disciplined maintenance and experienced operation.

These rigs are available for purchase, rental, or as part of drilling support arrangements, depending on project requirements. As always, our focus is on finding the right fit, whether that is placing these assets with another operator or supporting upcoming programs through our broader drilling services.
