Celebrating 15 years with Zenex Drilling

​15 years is more than a milestone, it’s a story of growth, dedication, and the values that shape Zenex Drilling. Recently, we celebrated the 15 year milestone of Judith Pupet, who joined Zenex as a young accounts clerk and today leads the HR function with confidence, purpose, and heart.

​Raised between the Highlands and her family home in Lihir, Judith brings a deep connection to community.

“My parents returned to Lihir to start their own small business, so I came back in my teenage years and I’ve been here since,” she explains. That sense of family and belonging has shaped the way she works and supports others.

Judith’s journey reflects the development opportunities within Zenex Drilling. After starting in finance, she progressed to finance officer before embracing a new challenge in human resources.

“I’m grateful the company recognised my potential and helped me grow into this role,” she says.

“When the company cares about its employees, it boosts morale, and people give 100% because they feel appreciated,” she added.

For Emmanuel Bonte, General Manager of Zenex Drilling, Judith’s story represents what makes the organisation strong: its people.

“Everything happening today, every improvement is because of the team we have, said Emmanuel.

“Growth is only possible when people feel included, supported, and proud of their work,” he said.

“As the Human Resources Manager, Judith nurtures this within the company,” he added.

Judith agrees that Zenex is a place to learn and develop through experience. “Every company is different, and here you meet people from all departments, with different field expertise and experience. You gain knowledge because you take part in everything in some way,” she explains.

As we celebrate Judith’s 15 years, we honour her commitment and the spirit of continuous learning that defines Zenex Drilling. Her journey shows that when people grow, the company grows too.
