In Memory of Wal Fick

On behalf of the entire team at Zenex Drilling, I wish to share the sad news of the passing of our Director and dear friend, Friedrich Waldemar Appel (Wal) Fick, who died on 17 July 2025 in Townsville, Australia.

Wal was not only a founding figure in our business, but a remarkable leader whose vision, determination, and integrity shaped the culture and direction for both Zenex Drilling and Drillogy, which will carry these values into the future. His influence extended far beyond Australia and PNG, building relationships and earning respect across the global drilling community.
